What is love?

 

Love… four letters and an unimaginable range of feelings, emotions and butterflies in the stomach. What do you think love is? Love is life and death, is a duality about what we feel and what we think. Octavio Paz talked about love in his book: The Double Flame. He said that love was not a thing about head or sex, but is of the heart. Yes! Surely yes it is. Nobody can say that it is wrong, but nobody can say that it is true. So, what is love?

 

 

     Some people think the love is a myth, other ones think about love as a reality, me? I think of love as something that does not seek anything beyond itself, no good, no prize, and either a purpose that transcends it. Then, love ends? Unfortunately it does, but it does not mean that it cannot be eternal, so, how does it can be possible? It can’t be. What is the sense of this? The sense you give it, you are the only one can make a few minutes be centuries or eternity.

 

 

     “Love does not conquer death, is a bet against time and accidents” according to Octavio Paz. It is a beautiful thing when you love somebody, and I love somebody, so, only thing that I could do would bet all to the love and finally let me catch in its webs forever.
